Bury Hospice is organising a trek challenge across the infamous Yorkshire three peaks on Saturday 3rd September 2022.

Story

This September, fifteen of us from Beechfield are taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge for Bury Hospice and I’d really appreciate your support for the incredible work that Bury Hospice do on our JustGiving page.

The help, care and support they provide to so many people is awe inspiring, but unfortunately, that comes at a financial cost and only 23% is funded by the CCG/NHS. That means they have to find 77% of their £3.5 million annual running costs, from events and challenges like this.

Bury Hospice’s 3 Peaks challenge is a circular route of approximately 39 kilometres in length with an elevation gain of 1600m. Starting and finishing in Horton-in Ribblesdale, we will climb the summits of Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m), not to mention walking between them! Hopefully in less than the allocated 12 hours!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
