On the 6th September 2025 I’ll be taking on the challenge of running a half marathon in support of Prostate Cancer UK a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart. I’m doing this in memory of my grandad, a man who meant the world to me and whose strength, kindness, and quiet resilience continue to inspire me every day. This run is a way for me to honour his memory, to keep his spirit alive, and to channel my grief into something positive and purposeful.

But this isn’t just about looking back on my grandad, it’s about looking forward too. Every step I run is also for the dads, grandads, brothers, sons, and friends who are still fighting, and for those who haven’t yet been diagnosed. Prostate cancer affects one in eight men in the UK, and the funds raised through this effort will go toward research, support services, and awareness that can change and save lives in the future. If my miles can help make a difference, then every ache and blister will be worth it.
