Set up in 1973, the charity is one of the largest refuge providers in the UK, supplying around 600 sets of bedding across refuges each year, which women and children are encouraged to take with them as they resettle back into the community.

Those who arrive at the refuge also have the option to choose their own bedding, helping to make them feel welcomed and a little more at home. That’s why it’s so important to make sure there’s always a good variety for them to pick from.

The aim is to provide a sense of comfort and a homely feeling for those who are struggling most.
