Story

I'm running The London Marathon 2024 for Asthma + Lung UK in memory of my Dad who passed away in 2022, after suffering from COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease).

1 in 5 of us will have a lung condition during our lifetime. There's a new diagnosis every minute.  It's likely that we'll all know someone who has one.

Asthma and Lung are the only UK charity that supports people suffering with lung diseases like COPD and who fight for everyone's right to breathe.  Since my Dad's passing it’s become apparent how common COPD is  and I feel very strongly that now is the right time to challenge myself to raise money for (and awareness of) the charity.

Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.   Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UKs nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice.

I'd genuinely be very grateful for any donations you could make!
