Story
6 years ago I witnessed the unimaginable, my friend Alison had to say her forever goodbyes to her darling daughter Sammy. Sammy was just 15 years old and she had profound and multiple learning difficulties and severe epilepsy. Sammy passed away peacefully at Milton hospice in Cambridge surrounded by her family and friends. I was so touched at the care and compassion not only for Sammy but for all her family and friends, nothing was too much trouble, whether it was making lasting memories or helping us all through such a difficult time.
At 38 years old I decided to start running to raise funds for EACH in memory of Sammy. I have never been into fitness so training to run was going to be a big challenge for me. So I registered to do the Cambridge half marathon. So here I am in full training!!!!
