Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Thank you very much for your donation. It really means a lot to me and to Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal .

Hi Im Shaving my hair off at the end of April to raise Money for the Stars Appeal at Salisbury Hospital . The money will be going to the N.I.C.U this time as they are short of there target to get the new unit up and runnig. The unit there in at the moment it so small and cramped its hard for familys to have too many people round the baby's cots and theres no where for the parents too stay over night so at the end of each day they have to leave there babys there and go home .

As soon as the new units up and runnig it will be a lifeline for local families at a tremendously difficult  time.  It  will  have en-suite bedrooms, a lounge,  kitchen,  a  play room for siblings and educational facilities enabling  parents  whose babies have special needs treatment techniques, there will be loads more space for each baby's family .

The reason Im doing this is because over the last 7 years my health had gone down hill quite fast and Im under Salisbury Hospital and deffernt departents for different parts of my illness's and they have been brill they have helped  both me and my family come to terms will my ilness not once have I been let down by them . Not only am I under the hospital both my two youngst children Holly and Zack are under the New childrens unit , they Both have hypomobility syndrome Hollys is worse than Zack and go's to the hospital more often but thanks to the Help of the Starsappeal they both use the new childens unit . It's a lovely big space with better access for my wheelchair , the waiting rooms is more fun for all of my other children and now I dont mind taken all the kids as they are kepted busy .

We as a family can not that the hospital enough for all the help they have given us and what Im doing to loose my hair for a few years is nothing and my hair that is cut off will be going to the Little princess trust to help make wigs for kids with cancer so it will be worth every moment of having no hair for a few month .

I know times are hard for every one right now but if you can help in any way I would be most grateful also I will be grate full if you can share this if you can so through me the stars can get as much as they can for the new N.I.C.U , every penny counts .

Thanks for taken your time to read this and thankyou to every one in advance for your kind donations x
