In September last year, our mum lost her battle with cancer. Her last week was spent in Eden Valley Hospice, where she got the care to pass away in dignity and in a lovely place, somewhere she felt able to let go as the whole environment of the hospice is one which is comfortable and caring.

Through taking part in the Great North Swim 2 mile event, we aim to raise as much money for Eden Valley Hospice as possible, so they can continue to provide the facilities and the incredible care they do. Eden Valley Hospice relies on fundraising and volunteering and so every penny donated is put to good use to care for those who need it most in Cumbria.
