As you will all know, our dear friend Emma passed away on 21st November 2018 in Loros hospice, from Vulval cancer.

Her times in Loros were hard but they were made so much better by the amazing care of the Doctors, Nurses, HCA’s and ward companions - particularly when the drinks Trolly was doing its rounds.

Personally, as a family, we experienced what levels of passion and commitment the people that work and volunteer have in order to make family and friends of patients feel supported too.

Also, as someone who volunteers for Loros now, I know just how much it means to the patients that they get high quality  care that also gives them their dignity and respect.
