Story

During lockdown Domestic violence has increased by 20%, women fleeing their homes with their children looking for shelter and safety. I want to remember when I'm running how lucky I am and how I shouldn't moan about homeschooling and Lockdown. I don't fear for my life in my own home. I can't imagine what these poor women are going through.

I will be running 100 miles in February for Refuge. On any given day, Refuge supports 6,500 women and children. Just £10 could provide a woman arriving at a Refuge with the support she needs for her first night. Every £1 makes a difference.
