My gorgeous son Otis is now 11 and in his first year of Secondary school.

He didn't have a very good start to life and due to a difficult birth has a very mild form of cerebral palsy.  He was really lucky and is in great condition physically, but will always struggle at school.

Without the amazing facilities and staff at the Trevor Mann Baby Unit he definitely wouldn't be here today and that is why I am running the half marathon for The Rockinghorse Children's Charity who raise money across Sussex for babies in similar situations to Otis.

My hope is that if I raise this money, there will be another Mother, running this in years to come, who will have a similar grateful tale to tell because their child benefitted from monies raised for Rockinghorse.
