I am taking on the challenge of walking the 148 mile distance from our rehearsal room at Tongwynlais Village Hall to the Royal Albert Hall over 10 weeks. Please sponsor me to help raise money for the organisation to support our trip to the National Finals.

The City of Cardiff (Melingriffith) Band M1 are delighted to have qualified for the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain in 2022. We are one of four bands representing Wales, but we need a little bit of help to get there.For many of our young band, this will be their first experience of playing at the Royal Albert Hall - something which is a once in a lifetime opportunity for many.The band are fully self funded, and therefore require some help in order to get to London. Each member of the band are paying for their accommodation, but the band need to raise money in order to get a coach to and from London and a rehearsal venue in London.Any help that can be afforded will be hugely appreciated by the band, and we hope that we can do Wales proud.
