Story

I am immensely privileged to have been accepted as part of the #teamARTHUR in 2018's London Marathon!

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity provides support to people living in Cambridgeshire who are living with life-limiting illnesses. They deliver their services from care centres, one of which is the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre in Wisbech.

The Centre in Wisbech is where my Grandma attended for her blood transfusions, every 3 weeks for 8 years, until she passed away in August. The team there went over and above for Grandma & my family in terms of care, support & advice. The centre was more than just a treatment centre to her, it provided community when living with quite a rare illness and it's important to me that other families like us are always supported by the great work Arthur Rank Charity does.

So me running 26.2 miles & hopefully raising lots! is my way of saying thank you to every single person behind Arthur Rank Hospice Charity
