Hi everyone I am taking part in a volunteer programme called Global Xchange in 2009. I will be working as part of a team of 18 people - half from the UK and half from Syria on community based projects on the theme of Social Inclusion & Youth Leadership. I will be based somewhere in the UK in Luton for 3 months and then travel to a Syria in the Middle East for a further 3 months. The programme is fully funded by VSO and the British Council so I don't have to pay to take part, however as part of the programme I have been asked to fundraise to a target of £600 towards the work of VSO the charity. With your help I am hoping to raise well over this amount - so please help me to do this by donating on my page...it can be any amount, great or small...it will all make a massive difference!
