We deliver water safety education to prevent drowning and save lives

Story

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit my page and read my story.

I have always been a keen swimmer, and my love for open water swimming comes from hearing all the great adventures from Christine Addison who runs Flipper Swim School and frequently takes on amazing open water challenges.

Shortly after my 16th Birthday, in January 2018, I was offered the opportunity to join a 5-(wo)man relay team, training to swim the English Channel.

I have chosen this charity as it has recently become close to my heart.  Sadly, my Uncle Chris lost his life in a drowning accident, whilst swimming off the coast of Spain at the end of 2018.

It has been a very difficult time for my family and I, as Swimming the English Channel has been something I have wanted to do for a very long time.

I would really appreciate any donation, no matter how small, as it is a cause that is very important to me, and provides an invaluable service for others.
