Story
When we signed up to run the 2020 London Marathon for Action Medical Research we couldn’t have imagined that this charity would become so relevant to us, as marathon day finally arrives.
On 13th August 2022, Helen gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Lilly, who sadly died after being born prematurely at 29 weeks and having an infection.
Action fund research to help sick and disabled babies and children, and very recently funded research into preventing spontaneous pre-term birth. It is only with research like this that we can help save little lives.
We hope that your donations will gift more families of all those precious moments that we sadly won’t have with our little Lilly.
There is no foot too small that it cannot make an imprint on the world, and we are so proud that Lilly is already making her mark 💫🤍
