In 2017 we sadly lost my sister's partner, Andy, to Bowel Cancer after a two year fight with the disease. Andy was a larger than life character so only a massive challenge would do him justice - Kilimanjaro has always been an idea in the back of my mind and now seems like a great opportunity to take it on, in Andy's memory, and to raise some vital funds for Bowel Cancer UK.

Starting in October, my sister & I will be taking part in 12 10km races, 1 per month, and at the end of that I will be jetting of to Tanzania to complete this ultimate challenge.

Over 42,000 people are diagnosed with this disease annually. Bowel Cancer UK fund life changing research and support to patients and their families (among much, much more) and I can't think of a more deserving charity to fund raise for.
