Story
Ok peeps, here we go again. But this time... I'm dressing for the occasion!
As you all know, I support TCT because they really helped my cousin Adam when he was ill, and the work they do continues to mean so much for teenagers and their families dealing with the dreaded C.
Last year I ran Paris and the money you guys helped me raise went directly towards the Royal Marsden's Teenage Cancer Unit. That unit is now open, check it out: http://www.teenagecancertrust.org/what-we-do/specialist-services/units/the-royal-marsden-hospital/
Pretty cool huh?
So this year, to make it a little more interesting, I shall be running the Brighton Marathon dressed as Cheetara from the Thundercats. She was my childhood heroine, and she's pretty speedy, so I'm hoping she'll help me finish in UNDER 4hours 30mins, which is my target.
So if you'd like to see me cross the line in my orange leotard, come and watch on the 15th April. Sure it'll be a sight!
But even if you can't make it, please please give what you can so TCT can continue to help teenagers through their marathon battle. 26.2 miles is nothing compared to that.
Much love
Becca aka 'Cheetara' grrrrrrr ;-)
