Event: Climb Kilimanjaro | Epic Challenge, from 6 February 2020 to 16 February 2020
In memory of Patrick 'Paddy' Higgins
Vodafone employees are raising £1 million for Vodafone Foundation's Girl Fund, which is supporting charitable programmes that use technology to address some of the biggest issues affecting girls today.

Story

It's coming up for 10 years since I lost my brother Patrick "Paddy" Higgins, I am taking on this challenge in his memory and because the fundraising goes towards a very worthwhile cause.

Paddy always loved children, helping people and having a great time, he had a big sense of adventure and this seems like a perfect match.

Please support me and honor Patrick's memory by giving what you can.

THE CAUSE:

Did you know 130 million girls remain out of school? Or that 1 in 3 girls will experience abuse in her lifetime? I'm fundraising for Vodafone Foundation to take a stand against gender inequality and #ShineALight for girls. Every penny you donate will be channeled into Vodafone Foundation’s Girl Fund, a restricted fund dedicated to supporting charitable programmes that improve girls’ access to education, informal learning and health services in countries where Vodafone operates.

None of the donations you give go into admin costs or pay for me to do the trip and every penny raised will be matched by the Vodafone Foundation - win win!

Thank you :)

Becca
