We provide care and support to those affected by life-limiting illness

Story

Through working as a fundraiser at Blythe House Hospice I have seen first hand how important it is that their services continue to be available to anyone in our community that needs them.

I wanted to set myself a challenge and do some fundraising myself! Although the thought of jumping out of a plane makes me feel sick, I am determined to do it!

Blythe House is there for anyone living in and around the High Peak who has cancer or a life limiting illness, along with their families. It is so important to support the hospice as we never know when we may need it for ourselves or a loved one.

Blythe House Hospicecare is a purpose built day care hospice located in Chapel-en-le-Frith in the heart of the Peak District. The hospice is unique in that it provides the only specialist palliative care day care service in the area for people affected by cancer and other life limiting illnesses, their carers and families. It' Hospice at Home services enables patients with advanced illness to be cared for at home, and to die at home if that is their preference.
