Story
Beat This Together is a University of Bristol Society dedicated to campaigning and fundraising for Beat, whilst reducing the stigma and lack of conversation around the topic of eating disorders.
Beat are the UK's largest eating disorder charity, offering invaluable help not only to those suffering eating disorders but also to their friends and family in order to help them to best support their loved ones. They resource the most accurate and effective information in order that we can begin to challenge stigmas associated with these serious mental illnesses, which in turn can help people to source treatment early.
Beat This Together will be the student face for Beat at Bristol. We will be running fundraising events, relaxation and yoga classes, and bringing inspiring and educational speakers to Bristol. We will carry out Beat's campaigns, making it easier than ever for students to be involved - from 'Sock it to Eating Disorders' to 'Walk and Talk' events. We will have a great selection of different activities throughout the year to promote positive mental health, positive body image, and increase the conversation around eating disorders.
Donate now to make a real difference to someone's life - and be sure to take part of lots of our fabulous events all throughout the year!
