Thank you for  visiting my Sponsor page!

WE DID IT!

Thank you to everyone that donated and lent their support over the last 18 months.

You can continue to donate until the end of September, so please dig deep.

Here's some info on the charities i support:

The Lowe Syndrome Trust is a small, family-run charity which works constantly to raise awareness about Lowe Syndrome and to fund research projects into the presently incurable disease.

Link Community Development's work in Sub-Saharan Africa has had an inspiring influence on my life and provides thousands of children with an improved education, giving many communities a central pivot that will last for many lifetimes.

Through the sport of sailing Sailability Australia educates the broader community to the needs and attitudes of people with disabilities; it dispels many fears held by both the disabled and able bodied. Everyone is accepted for their ability and disability disappears as groups work and learn together.

Here is a list of what your Donations could be used for:

£10 can pay for a desk.

£20 can pay for literacy training for two teachers.  Literacy is an essential skill which will greatly improve the chance a child has of gaining employment when they leave school.

£50 can pay for five teachers to attend a HIV/AIDS training session.  Education remains one of the most powerful weapons society has against a disease which has orphaned nearly 3 million children in Ghana, Malawi, South Africa and Uganda.

£100 can give 10 community members fundraising training.  These skills will enable the community to support the schools development far into the future.

£300 can give one school a development grant, which they can use to meet their most pressing need; whether it be a new classroom, toilet block or more textbooks.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Link Community Development will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us!

Many thanks for your support.
