Hi everyone and welcome to my Just Giving page!

My name is David Lee and I live in St Neots in Cambridgeshire. I am very active volunteer for CPSL MIND and a non- executive director of The SUN Network.  You could say I’ve become a bit of a mental health campaigner since suffering from quite significant mental health challenges for the first time in my life about 4 years ago.

People say I’m an all round “good egg” in fact, I did actually resemble an egg, and then the lockdown beard happened! In order to raise some dosh for CPSL MIND I’m going to dye my beard (professionally I hope!) and make it a silly but funky bright colour. 

I think this would be a good way to raise awareness for mental health and the importance of looking after your wellbeing. Mental health can affect anyone… even me. So after some deliberation these are the colours you can choose from!

The colour choices are:

BRIGHT blue

BRIGHT yellow

BRIGHT red

BRIGHT orange

Please donate to my cause and choose which colour to dye the “lockdown beard” in the comments.

CPSL MIND provide excellent services for people with mental health issues in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire and have continued to do this throughout the pandemic.  Mental health support is needed more than ever in Cambridgeshire so help me support Mind to continue to fly the flag for Mental Health awareness.

So if you see me walking around St Neots with a brightly coloured beard please remember it’s so important to be kind to yourself and to take care of your wellbeing.
