We are Theatre tots CIC. We specialise in drama and stories for early years children and their families. During the COVID19 pandemic we wanted to produce something to help and encourage children to talk about what was happening in the world in a truthful but manageable way. Through weeks of discussion, writing, designing and voice over-ing we came up with our film 'Bean and the Corona King'. We wanted to use it to raise awareness of something that brilliant in the world so alongside sharing it as much as possible we would love to fund raise for Fareshare.
FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 17 independent organisations. Together, we take good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and get it to almost 11,000 frontline charities and community groups.
The food they redistribute is nutritious, in-date and good to eat. It reaches charities across the UK, including school breakfast clubs, older people’s lunch clubs, homeless shelters, and community cafes. Every week we provide enough food to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people.
We believe Fareshare is a at the heart of what is essential across many communities at the moment to support our most vulnerable people, including many families. Same storm, different boats...
