Story
Most of you know by now our Gorgeous Boy was diagnosed in October 2011 with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). We are now at a point we never dared to consider back then...Tom has 9 months left of treatment and is doing so well. He is a true inspiration to us on a daily basis.
Back in August the lovely' Pip' at Alder Hey introduced us to Beads of Courage'. These beads record every single treatment that Tom receives. (and every other child receiving treatment for CANCER) They are simply a beautiful way of recording our boys journey!! At this point Tom is a little too young to understand the full implication of these beads. But one day when he IS old enough to understand, I look forward to explaining to him just how proud we ALL are of him!
So this summer's mission is to walk up Snowdon.... in doing this we hope to raise at least enough money to fund another year of beads in Alder Hey. This will cost £2,000. So that is our target!
Here we go,13 female friends and family are taking on the challenge of Snowdon. So please, please, please if you can help us out to provide another year of Beads of Courage for children fighting CANCER!
Thanks Guys!!! xxxx
