Beacon's Christmas Raffle is back for 2020, with some amazing prizes on offer, kindly donated to us by our friends at Hoo Farm, Dudley Zoo, Mini Pro Golf Park, Flip Out, Habberley Trail, Taylors Greengrocers and Mad Hatters Tea Room.
The Covid-19 pandemic continues to have a devastating effect on our charity and its members.
We’ve been doing everything we can to support people with sight loss when they have needed us most throughout the challenging few months but our organisation has already lost £682,000 as a result of the pandemic and sadly we expect that figure to grow as many of our usual festive fundraising events are unable to take place.
Our Christmas lunches alone generate more than £7,000 to support people with sight loss. By taking part in the Christmas Raffle, not only will you be in with a chance to win a fantastic prize, but you will also play a part in supporting vulnerable people with sight loss.
With the help of support from people like you we have made in the region of 8,000 welfare calls to make sure no one was left feeling alone during the pandemic. We’ll continue to put the needs of our members and the local community first as people are relying on us more than ever over the Christmas period.

When you purchase your tickets, please ensure you email raffle@beaconvision.org with your email address so we can make sure you receive your unique numbers and notify you of your prize if you win. Failure to do this your raffle ticket will be considered as a donation to Beacon. Unfortunately, raffle funds cannot be gift aided.
How to play our virtual Christmas raffle:
Taking part is easy, just follow these steps below:
1. Purchase a £2 raffle ticket which will buy you a single number and you can purchase as many as you like. For example, if you pay £10, you will receive five individual numbers or if you pay £20, you'll receive 10 numbers etc.
2. Please make sure you send your email address to raffle@beaconvision.org so we can send your number/s to you. This email will NOT be generated automatically, we will be allocating and sending them to you manually.
3. You will receive an email from raffle@beaconvision.org which will include your number/s. As this isn't automated, please allow up to two working days for us to send the email to you. If, after this time, you have not received your number/s, please double check your junk email and if not there, please email raffle@beaconvision.org
4. You must provide all of your contact details to take part otherwise we will not be able to send your number/s to you or your prize if you win!
5. If you are one of the lucky winners, you will be contacted by email on or after the Monday 21st December 2020.

A brilliant family day out at Hoo Farm Telford. Hoo Farm is a family
run countryside attraction nestling in 32 acres of woodland and paddocks in the heart of rural Shropshire. The pass will allow a family of 5 to explore the grounds and be at one with nature.
Prize 2
A wonderful day out at Dudley Zoo with a chance to see many exotic species and have a fun filled day. The pass includes entrance for x2 Adults x2 children.
Prize 3
Golfing fun for everyone at Mini Pro Golf Park based in Kidderminster. The family pass will allow you to play an exciting 18-hole mini pro golf course, no golf experience necessary, just turn up and play whilst enjoying the picturesque riverside setting.

One gift voucher to Flip Out Oldbury, a place where children will love, and adults will love being children all over again.
Prize 5
Entrance for 2 at the exciting new adventure park Habberley Trail Kidderminster. Set alongside a woodland walk there are many activities and games of skill for all the family to take part in.

Christmas hamper to the value of £20.00, the lucky winner will be able to go into Taylors Greengrocers and Florist based in Wombourne and create your own Christmas Day hamper.

Indulge yourself with an afternoon Tea for Two kindly donated by Mad Hatters Tea Room, Gornal Village.
