We close orphanages & reform care systems to get separated children Back to Family

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

On 21 September we will be competing in the SJP sprint triathlon to raise funds for Hope and Homes for Children.

3 of us did it last year and are back for more punishment.  But this time we've taken the precaution of enlisting some younger, more talented reinforcements.

It’s no easy challenge – a 400m swim followed by a gruelling 20km cycle and a 5km run.

However the real challenge is to try and raise as much money as possible for Hope and Homes for Children.

The money we raise by taking part in this triathlon will support children in Romania.  This year Hope and Homes for Children is working to move 320 children into family-based care by closing 4 institutions in Romania as well as helping the Government to continue to close others.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Hope and Homes for Children gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

5.4 million children across the world are currently trapped in orphanages – even though 80% of them have family they could live with if they had the right support. Orphanages harm children, depriving them of love and exposing them to abuse. Your support helps us get children to back to family.
