In 2020, Paul and I were going to take part in the 'RideLondon 100' (a 100 mile bike ride) to raise money for 'Make-A-Wish'. Unfortunately, like most charity fund raising events, it was cancelled due to Covid. Instead  'Make-A-Wish' offered us places in the London to Brighton 55-mile bike ride this year. We said yes and invited our friend Paula to join us. And why not.. it is after all an iconic event that has to be done at least once in a lifetime. Sadly we will miss Paula's late husband Peter, our coach, ride leader and mechanic. He will be with us in memory all the way.

Make-A-Wish UK is a great charity, granting wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition.

The three of us would like to raise money in order to help give children quality time and a magical memory they will treasure forever.

The ride takes place on the 19th September which happens to be our 29th wedding anniversary. Your support will make the day extra special by enabling us to help wishes come true for a lot of children and their families.
