Story
On Tuesday 27th November the faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences at Birmingham City University will be holding a fundraising event for Macmillan, at our City South Campus in Edgbaston, from 4.00 - 6.00pm.
You will have the opportunity to sponsor a light on the tree to remember those affected by cancer in aid of Macmillan.
In addition to sponsoring a decoration you can join us in singing a carol, see the light switch on by England cricketer Ashley Giles (approx 5.15pm), enjoy delicious mince pies and mulled wine, and much more.
Bake sales will be taking place on the day across our City South campus, so look out for more details on these closer to the time on our social media pages.
If you are unable to make our Tree of Light switch on event, you are always invited to come and sponsor a light in your own time between 27th November and 24th December at City South - just ask at reception for more details.
We hope to collectively raise £1,500 for this fantastic charity and we are sure that we can do this with your help!
