We are extremely excited to be working with the Birmingham Children's Hospital to raise money for their fantastic and extremely important new project, the Birmingham Children's Hospital Critical Journeys Appeal. 

The BCH needs to raise £2million in order to equip a fleet of four ambulances with the latest life saving equipment. The ambulances provide emergency specialist transport for critically ill children across the region. They also transport babies, including the most-fragile and premature, to the right neonatal unit that can care for them. 

The critical journeys service makes sure that more than 2,000 new born, small babies and children requiring intensive care and emergency treatment are transferred to the right place, at the right time for the right treatment.  

The service also helps find beds for expectant mothers who need to be transferred from their local hospital to another, more specialised, hospital in order to provide the appropriate care required for them and/or their baby.
