This 100K walk/cycle/run in March is a tribute to our dear colleague Matthew Stringer, who was born in Manchester on 21st December 1967. Matthew passed away on 18th January 2021, 11 months after being diagnosed with cancer. Throughout this time Matthew was in the care of The Christie hospital and was fortunate to have continuous treatment during 2020, which coupled with his positivity and bravery gave him the extra time he hoped for to spend with his family making memories. 

We know that Matthew would love any donation you are able to make to go to The Christie hospital so that they can continue to give the best care, hope, and the precious gift of time to other patients and their families.

Matthew will be missed so much by all who were lucky enough to know him and he will live on in our hearts forever.
