Kevin's birthday and fundraiser cycling tour for Bert's Big Adventure is here!  It's a little known fact that Kevin will be 70 at the end of June!  It's true!  One of the ways he's celebrating his youth is through cycling in different parts of the country this year!  In May, he cycled TN to MS for over 470 miles. In July, he'll be cycling the Great Divide in MT another 350+ miles.  Starting this week, his June tour will be cycling across GA and he's chosen this tour as a fundraiser tour for Bert's Big Adventure!  The Big Bike Ride Across GA (BRAG) tour starts on Saturday, June 4 in Columbus GA and ends on Saturday, June 11 in Brunswick GA - a total of 394 miles!  Cindy will be providing daily updates here and in social media, so keep an eye on his progress!

Bert's Big Adventure is near and dear to our hearts, and if you know us, you know that! :) Cindy has been involved in BBA (as we call it) for almost 19 years and, in fact, serves on the board. After we both stopped working, we had the opportunity to become more involved. Cindy, with volunteering in back office activities and events, and Kevin through using annual bicycle tours to raise awareness. The last several years have culminated in thousands of miles ridden and over $75,000 raised for Bert's Big Adventure since our first ride in 2016!

This new goal of $15,000 has a different spin - Kevin celebrates his 70th birthday in June just after he completes the Bike Ride Across GA (BRAG)!  BRAG begins in Columbus GA on June 4 and ends in Brunswick GA on June 11 - a total of 394 miles through the cities of Thomaston, Perry, Dublin, Hazelhurst, Jesup, and finally in Brunswick. If you're near one of those cities, get in touch with us!  Maybe you can show him some love along his ride!
