Story
A group of friends from Bayston Hill have decided to cycle 20 miles to help children in Ukraine.
The ride will take place on Saturday 30th of April 2022 at 9:00 am and will see the group heading out from Bayston Hill to Uffington and back via the Quarry Park.
Many families and children have been forced to flee the ongoing violence where their homes, toys, school, water supplies, and hospitals have been damaged or destroyed. Children have been separated from their families and explosives are a daily threat to children's lives. UNICEF is helping to keep every child and family in Ukraine safe and protected from the dangers of this crisis, including providing access to clean water and health care.
Harry, Finley, Isaac, Miller, Fin, Erin, Sam, Jake, and Alfie have never cycled this distance before and are determined to succeed as they are desperate to make a difference for the children of Ukraine. Whilst they might not fully understand how this crisis started or why, they believe that by showing kindness and raising money, children in Ukraine will be able to smile, have fun, play games, and feel safe again in their own homes because no child should ever feel scared or worried.
Please sponsor this great group of mates and let's see how much money they can raise for UNICEF in Ukraine.
