Here at Bayleys, we love giving back to the community.

This month Bayleys Auckland Central & Projects team have come together to fundraise for Cancer Rehabilitation. We have several members of our team and their families who have been affected by cancer, and we have a member of our Auckland Central team who is also going through their journey with cancer at present.Surviving cancer is one thing, but thriving and getting back to what someone used to be, or even better than before the diagnosis is something we want to raise awareness of.

Having the opportunity to work on core strength, balance and mental health is primary. You are never the same as you were prior to a diagnosis. In New Zealand, there is no ACC cover for cancer rehabilitation. People who have been affected by cancer have to fund their rehabilitation. Having FREE access to rehabilitation or a subsidy for a program, can help not just the cancer sufferer but their family too.

By donating to Pinc and Steel Rehabilitation Trust, we can do BETTER. For every $150 raised, a cancer sufferer can receive a one on one session with a physiotherapist, for every $20 raised they can receive a group class session and for every $200 raised a cancer sufferer can receive 10 group sessions!
