For Rangers is a campaign raising money to improve the lives of
rangers that protect Africa's most endangered species every day. Currently, poaching activities have reached catastrophic levels, meaning those on the ground protecting the wildlife are facing some of their toughest times. As the rangers find themselves in increasingly dangerous situations, their roles have started to morph from wildlife carers to wildlife soldiers. In the last ten years, more wildlife rangers have been killed than British and American military personnel combined. Over 1000 have been killed since 2013. What is the For Rangers Ultra?

A 230km foot race spread across five different wildlife

For five days, the seven of us will run carrying all of our own kit and food, across five different conservancies teaming with the wildlife that the rangers risk their lives to protect every day.
