Story
In 2009 I met a wonderful person, this person was to be my boss, my mentor and most importantly my friend.
Andrew and I over the years have gone through many ups and downs in work and in our personal lives, he always had my back and I had his. He had a wicked sense of humour, in fact he could be incredibly naughty and had an infectious giggle. He always had time to listen and for me was something of a personal cheerleader, I couldn't have come as far as I have without his support - especially early mornings before my dreaded NEBOSH exams.
I have wonderful memories of our friendship, sharing giggles, playing football, discussing Jo Nesbo and D.F.I.U (anyone who has worked with Andrew and I will know what this means!).
Andrew never complained, even when he was unwell and struggling he always had a positive outlook and never allowed it to drag him down. He truly was an inspirational person who had so much love for his family and friends, I miss him.
I want to do something positive for him and push myself out of my comfort zone, and in doing so I want to support the Hyper IgM Foundation. This foundation was very important to Andrew and if I can raise more awareness by undergoing some physical discomfort then it is a small price to pay!
This is where you come in, I would just ask that you give as little or as much as you can, everything counts, I would be incredibly grateful for your support in honouring the memory of Andrew.
