Story
We are Bath Spa University students and we are hosting a pop-up shop at our Locksbrook campus selling handmade clothing to raise money for Julian House charity in Bath. The clothing is handmade by one of our team members with deadstock fabric.
Julian House needs your help to rebuild lives this year. The last year has made many of us feel vulnerable, but for the people we support this is nothing new. Even before COVID-19 arrived most of the people in our care were vulnerable and often isolated from mainstream society. The pandemic made their situation even more stressful and, in many cases, riskier. This was especially true for those without a home, experiencing domestic abuse, struggling with addiction and/or mental health issues. The pandemic has also had a devastating effect on Julian Houses voluntary income at a time when the demand for our services has increased. With fundraising events being cancelled and our charity shops and bike workshops having to close temporarily, our voluntary income as taken a significant blow. Vital voluntary income needed to fund our life-saving services. Your support can help rebuild more lives. Please donate today
