B.A.B.I.E.S (Babies and Breastfeeding: Information, Encouragement and Support) has been providing free breastfeeding support since May 2011.  We have recently supported our 1000th mother.  The drop-in relies entirely on fundraising and grants to pay for the time of professional NCT breastfeeding counsellors who ensure the drop-in stays open for 50 weeks of the year.  The drop-in runs alongside Basingstoke NCT's friendly and popular Coffee and Chat group for bumps and babies.

If you have benefited from the service, or want to ensure its existence, please contribute generously.  It costs £4,000 per year to run the service, around £20 per mother.

Basingstoke BABIES meets every Friday morning (except Good Friday and Christmas week) between 10 and 11:30am at Brookvale Village Hall, RG21 7RU.  There is ample free parking available.  There's no need to make an appointment, just turn up!
