Earlier this year, our then 4 month old baby boy, Arnie, underwent heart surgery at the Evelina Children's Hospital at St Thomas's in London.
Following the successful operation and Arnie's full recovery, we've been looking for a way to show our gratitude and appreciation for the fantastic job that the consultants, surgeons, doctors and nurses did for us. Not only did they get the job done, but the whole team at the Evelina made us feel totally supported and held throughout an incredibly intense experience, and provided a level of care we couldn't have dreamt of. We also saw this in action in the Intensive Care Unit for all the other patients and their parents.
Georgia and Barty will be abseiling down the face of St Thomas's hospital on the 24th September. Apparently it's 160ft, which with Barty's fear of heights, probably won't make for the most relaxing of experiences.
In doing so, we'll be raising money for The Evelina London Children's Charity, who help support the hospital by supplementing and supporting the NHS. You can find out more about them here:

Every penny you donate will help to support the compassionate and trailblazing care for children, young people and their families. And helps to care for the amazing Evelina London team.
