As a member of the New York City Associate Board, my primary goal is to fundraise so that Summer Search can continue to serve low-income youth in the NYC area through year-round individual and group mentoring, summer experiential opportunities, college and financial aid advising, and support post college graduation.

Our collective fudraising efforts in 2020 allowed the full-time Summer Search staff to provide much needed day-to-day support and financial aid to students and their families during the pandemic. Despite the disruption caused by COVID-19, 99% of our Summer Search NYC seniors graduated from high school - a testament to the impact that Summer Search can make.
