We have maintained our links with our young friends that we visited in Chennai in 2016, and have been anxiously following their story throughout the terrible pandemic waves in India. Now the worst appears to be over, planning and building for the new school and boarding houses can resume. 

The new build, when it is ready, is going to provide high quality living accommodation, safety and space to run and play for the children, and the new school will also be more spacious and as ever, aim to support each unique child in meeting their unique potential and fulfilling their unique needs.

To support the new building, the Barry family runners are participating in the Southampton full and half marathons on September 5th 2021,Finley the Fast and Furious will be completing the half, while Sarah the Slow and Steady will be going for the full 26.2 miles. Sarah will additionally be running the Thames Meander marathon two months later.
