Story
In honour of Barry Marshall, the Hull Scorpions Baseball Club has made the decision to rename our home ground 'Barry Marshall Field'
We can think of no better way to keep his memory alive and pay tribute to a true legend who loved the club, its members and the game.
The club would like to raise money for Dove House as the care and respect they gave to Barry, and many other people we know, was second to none and we wish to show our gratitude for taking care of a true gentleman who took so much care for his baseball team.
As well as officially naming the ground, on Sunday 1st May, past players will be reforming a squad and facing off in a scrimmage game against the present players of the club, a Fly Ball Knockout Derby and a BBQ, with all donations been made to The Dove House Hospice
So please join us in raising money for a truly amazing service and join us for a day of celebration, baseball and remembering the life of the one and only Barry Marshall.
