Emily and I have a wonderful opportunity to raise money for a charity I use on a regular basis. Throughout my 5 years of living with Stage 4 cancer, Maggie’s Charity in Sutton have given me invaluable emotional support and tools to help me. I have made some amazing friends who support each other through this relentless, emotional, and scary journey. Maggie’s are truly amazing and do so much good for cancer patients and their families.

On Friday 16th June we will be abseiling (not together!) 200m down the Leadenhall (cheese grater), one of the UK's tallest building abseils. In my current medical condition, this will be the hardest thing I have ever done by a long way. And I am scared of heights! But I am determined to do it.  I'm so pleased that we can do this together.  Emily loves a challenge (she has been married to me for 18 years) and will do anything to beat me!
