Story
Hi Everyone,
On Sunday 25th July 2010, I completed the London to Cambridge bike ride. Starting from Pickett's Lock in north London, the 60 mile route took me through the beautiful countryside finishing at Midsummer Common in the heart of Cambridge. I actually shocked myself with my finishing time of 3 hrs 23 min's 43 secs as I was expecting the ride to take me in the region of 5 hrs (I guess all the training paid off). I thoroughly enjoyed the entire ride to the point where I actually felt a bit dissapointed to see the finish line as I wanted to carry on and ride for a bit longer.
Although I done this ride for my own enjoyment, I also wanted to help raise vital funds for a charity that is close to my heart, Breakthrough Breast Cancer - A pioneering charity saving lives and changing futures, through research and education - Removing the fear of breast cancer for good.
