Caroline and I have been taking part in The Macmillan 4x4 event for a couple of years, this is our 3rd event and we have set the target at £3000 to make it a nice £10,000 altogether over the 3 events.

We usually dont ask friends and family to sponsor us for this, relying on corporate sponsorship and selling advertising space on the car, however we REALLY want to break the £3k barrier this year so we are reluctantly asking for your help.

The event itself is looking to break through the £1m barrier this time, having been run for 11 years and raising roughly £100,000 every year. It's a HUGE event and fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We all know someone afftected by cancer and we all need to do something to try and help those left devastated by its effects.

The event itself is a gruelling mental and physical challenge, over 4 days and nights of navigation, tests and problem solving. VERY little sleep and thats in the back of the car!
