I'm running the Great North Run in 2011 for Bowel Cancer UK. It was the cancer that my Granddad had and affects many families in the UK. It is the 3rd most frequent form of cancer detected, and the 2nd biggest cancer killer in the UK. I'm doing this to do my small part in eventually finding cures for cancer, and as a personal thing for me to do in memory of Granddad.

I really hope you can make a small donation to the cause, it helps me out greatly by helping me hit my fundraising target, and it means you are also doing your bit to help fight cancer. Your donations are very much appreciated, so a big big thank you in advance to the people who donate!

Wish me luck, as this is going to be one hell of a challenge for me. My target is 2 hours 30mins as I'm unfit and not really ready in terms of fitness!
