Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In November 2013 I lost my younger sister to breast cancer... I then decided to get involved with Cancer Research UK to not only raise awareness of the decease but to also help raise badly needed funds at the same time.
I believe we all know someone who has had cancer and passed away throught it or at this moment in time experiencing it.
My first event was in May 2013 which was a sponsored walk up Snowdon in North Wales It wasnt as easy going as I first imagined. It took two and a half hours to walk up and two hours to walk down a total walk of 10 miles. I managed to personally raise over £700 for Cancer Research UK through donations given from Friends Colleages & Relatives.
My next challenge is a Skydive on September 1st over Cumbria. I have never jumped out of a plane before and have mixed feelings of doing it but realy looking forward to the challenge jumping from 15,000 feet Its going to be awesome.
After that challenge I'm thinking of doing a wing walk which seems more scary and crazier than the skydive but a good challenge to do and again looking forward to planning that one.
I wouldnt be able to do these challenges if I knew I couldnt be supported and sponsored by all the kind donations from my friends collegues and relatives...I want to thank you all for your kind donations past, present, & future.
Thank you all so much
Barry
