Story
We’ve committed to Smart Works, the BarrettClark Executive Search Charity of choice.
At the beginning of 2018 I asked everyone at BarrettClark Executive Search to think about a Charity Partner (we had done many challenges
in the past and supported numerous charities but had never chosen to
concentrate our attention for at least a year) that we could work with and after the discussion we unanimously chose Smart Works. Not only are they aligned with our business sector, they do great work.
Smart Works provides high quality interview clothes, styling advice and interview training to women in need. They give women the confidence, the self-belief and the practical tools they require to succeed at interview and start a new chapter in their life.
The success and impact of Smart Works is driven by the skills of their volunteers so everyone at BarrettClark Executive Search has committed to give a full day of their time during 2018 this year to Smart Works. We will be able to help them to provide essential interview advice so that their clients succeed. In addition to our business time, we have committed to this “Thames Path challenge” and to raise £10,000 for Smart Works in 2018.
There are at least 10 of us in our team, it’s on 8/9 September 2018, the challenge is to run/jog/walk/drag ourselves from Putney Bridge in London to Henley past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta fame then on past wonderful scenery to Henley. This challenge usually takes up to 24 hours non-stop and is 100km.
