Hello. My Name is Barney Bettesworth and I have just turned 9. 

I am very upset by the suffering of the families and children in Ukraine and I want to do something to help.

I am very active, so I thought I could arrange my own Triathlon Challenge..

On Saturday 16th April, in one go, I will swim 250m in the pool, cycle 5.5km in the velopark and then run 5 km.   

This is a lot further than my age grade triathlon distance but I am determined to make it.

My challenge will finish at The Boathouse in Paignton and I hope you can join me at the finish line for a little party there. 

Remember:- £10 could provide essential hygiene supplies for 1person for one month - £50 could provide blankets for 4 families to keep them warm - £100 could provide emergency food for 2 families for one month
