Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Kathryn and I are fortunate enough to have two happy healthy children, thanks primarily to the dedicated staff at Salisbury District Hospital (SDH). Both Imogen and James were born by c-section and the staff at the hopsital were faultless in their care and attention to Kathryn both in the operating theatre and on the ward. James was however, born with a hip dysplasia and his legs were in a specially developed "Salisbury" harness for the first 3 months of his life. We were fortunate - his condition is not uncommon but still left us with some fear for the future. James received fortnightly physio from the most amazing team at Salisbury who even came to the house to treat him when chicken pox prevented us attending the children's unit. Thankfully James's condition was simple to treat and he now has perfectly formed hips.
Not every family is as fortunate as us though and plenty rely on the quality of care that exisits in Salisbury for a good deal longer than we had to with James. So if thrashing myself around 10K can in some small way persuade you to dip into your pockets so future families can continue to be so well supported by SDH then please dig deep and donate however much you can. Alternatively if the thought of seeing a picture of me looking puce and close to death is worth paying for i assure you that i will not disappoint!!
