Story
I was never blessed with the power of good people words, so bear with me here.
As lockdown struck I thought to myself, why not? What better time to join the MAMIL (google it) brigade ahead of my years? The same thought as at least 99.9% of London's population had.
Fast forward a year and to everyone's shock, instead of flaking, I've actually stuck with it. So naturally the next step is to cycle the equivalent distance from Tower Bridge to Cardiff Bay in a day right? (right?!). And due to the previously mentioned flakiness, I thought it best to drag Guy along for the ride as well (no pun intended). Feel free to find more info about the event here:

Now for the more serious stuff. I am doing this in aid of Parkinson's UK. I think everyone knows of someone that has been affected by this, or even closer to home than that. The charity help to find care for those who suffer, work with employers as the disease starts to effect younger people, but above all else, they fight for a cure. I am raising money for the amazing people at Parkinson's UK continue to fight and help those who need it most.
I saw this disease dramatically change my Grampes' life. This man for me, as all Grandparents do, defined what it was to be a hero. And even with all his stubbornness and fight, he ended up losing this battle. Without the work Parkinson's UK do, this would've been a lot worse for him, for my family and everyone else involved.
Thanks for reading this far if you have!
Anything you can give towards this target will be incredibly appreciated. I am so very proud to be doing this for Parkinson's UK and in the memory of a man who helped shape who I am today.
Feel free to follow along as we try to figure out what we are doing!

Oh, and to make it that little bit more challenging, I fell off my bike and fractured my wrist. So the start of training may have been delayed ever so slightly...
